A small rescue and registered charity built on patience, kindness, and helping dogs rediscover their wild, happy selves.
Our approach is simple… kindness first, always. We focus on thoughtful placements, honest communication, and giving every dog the care and understanding they deserve.
We’re building something really special with The Wild Kind… not a traditional kennel block, but a calm, home-style base where dogs can be dogs. A space designed with their needs at the centre, where they can decompress, feel safe, and be properly understood before moving on to their forever homes.
We have the space…. and right now, we’re in the early stages of planning, preparing, and bringing the vision to life piece by piece. From the layout of the space to the little details that make it feel like a home, everything we’re doing is intentional. This isn’t about doing things quickly, it’s about doing them right.
With the support of our community, we’ll be creating a place where every dog gets the time, care, and kindness they truly deserve - the kind of start that every dog deserves. 🐾

We're starting with nothing more than a patch of grass and a dream.
Our goal: £15,000
Right now, The Wild Kind Dog Rescue relies on foster homes to help dogs in need. Foster carers are incredible, but sometimes a dog can't wait for the perfect foster to become available. Sometimes there simply isn't anywhere safe for them to go.
That's why we're building Project Home.
Where others see an empty piece of land, we see frightened dogs finding safety, wagging tails replacing fear, and lives being changed forever. We can't wait to take you on that journey with us and show you every step as Project Home grows from the ground up.
Project Home will be a small, purpose-built rescue base where dogs in need can finally stop surviving and start healing. It won't be rows of cold kennels. It will be a calm, home-style environment designed to help frightened, abandoned and overwhelmed dogs decompress before finding their forever families. It will be a safe space where dogs most at risk and out of time in pounds around the UK, can be given a chance.
We've done everything we can to reach this point. We've secured the land, developed the plans and obtained the build quotes.
Now comes the biggest challenge yet.
We need to raise £15,000 to turn that empty patch of grass into a place that saves lives.
Every brick. Every slab. Every panel. Every pound.
Every donation brings us one step closer to opening our doors.
This isn't just about building a rescue.
It's about creating somewhere we can finally say "yes" to the dog with nowhere else to go.
The dog whose time has run out.
The dog who's waiting for someone to give them one more chance.
We want The Wild Kind to be that chance.
