At The Wild Kind Dog Rescue, we believe adoption should be about more than simply finding a dog a home - it’s about creating the right match for both dog and adopter.
Every dog in our care is treated as an individual. And whilst we are speciality matchmakers, we take the time to understand their personality, needs, and future potential so we can carefully match them with homes where they can truly thrive.
Whether they’re in foster care or at our home-style base, each dog begins their next chapter with safety, kindness, and understanding.

Our adoption process is designed to help us find the right match for both the dog and the adopter, giving everyone the best chance of a happy future together.
We are committed to doing rescue differently - with transparency, compassion, and lifelong responsibility.
The process, following initial communications with us, is as follows:
Completion of our adoption application form so we can learn a little more about you, your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a dog.
A home check,carried out in person where possible, to ensure the environment is suitable for the dog’s needs.
If approved, we’ll discuss whether the dog you’re interested in is the right match and answer any questions you may have.
Arrangements for meeting the dog/adoption and completion of the adoption paperwork. Please note, some dogs will require several meets before going home.
Ongoing support from us after adoption. Every Wild Kind dog comes with rescue backup for life, and we’re always here if you need advice or support.
