Could you be the safe place a rescue dog needs? Join our Foster Family
Some rescue dogs just need a little time to settle and for us to get to know them. That is exactly what our foster carers provide.
At The Wild Kind, our long-term vision is a home-style rescue base where dogs can decompress, feel safe and be truly understood while we find their perfect forever homes.
But even when that base is complete, foster homes will always be an important part of what we do.
Some dogs settle better in a family home environment, and foster carers help us learn so much about a dog’s personality, routine and needs, which helps us find them the right match for life.
Fostering can also be one of the most rewarding parts of rescue. Watching a dog relax, grow in confidence and show their true personality is incredibly special.
And you won’t be doing it alone.
The Wild Kind will support you every step of the way:
Regular visits from the team (in person as well as virtual support)
Food can be supplied
Equipment can be provided
All vet care is covered by the rescue
Full support and guidance from our team
All you need is a safe home, patience and kindness and we can find a suitable dog for you to help.
