We’re The Wild Kind Dog Rescue, built on the belief that every dog deserves to feel safe, understood and loved. We’re incredibly passionate about our rescue work here in the UK, supporting strays and dogs at risk. We see every dog as an individual, giving them the time and care they need before thoughtfully matching them with the right family.
We choose welfare over numbers, honesty over appearances and lasting matches over quick ones. Every dog adopted through us has our support for life because rescue doesn’t end when they go home.
Our mission is simple: to make rescue kinder… for every dog who needs us and every family who chooses to love them.

Help us to build Project Home
At the moment we are supported by an amazing network of fosterers who help us to find the perfect person for each and every dog in our care. But, we have big plans. We are building something really special.
It won’t be a traditional block of kennels, but a calm, home-style base where dogs can just be dogs. Dogs needs will be at the very core of its design so that we can help them to decompress, feel safe, and be properly understood before moving on to their forever homes.
We have the space which is a great start. Now, we are in the early stages of planning, preparing, and bringing the vision to life piece by piece.
With the support of dog lovers, adopters and fosterers, companies and others, we’ll be creating a place where every dog gets the time, care, and kindness they truly deserve - the kind of start that every dog deserves. 🐾
