Honey - Reserved

A little more about Honey.
Hit by a car and left…. Her story could have been so different. She was found with a broken back leg and injuries to her front leg. Thanks to surgery, dedicated care, and the love of both humans and fellow rescue dogs, Honey slowly began to heal.
Sweet is the only word we can use to describe her. Honey pours out as much love as was poured into her during her recovery, and her tail never stops wagging.
She has shown incredible strength, kindness, and resilience, and now all that’s missing is a family of her own.
Honey needs a gentle home, more “pottering” than hiking for miles as sadly her injuries do mean she gets stiff and sore with too much exercise. This does not mean she isn’t ready for a life of fun and returning the love she is given.

A little more about Rosie.
Rosie is a very special girl with the kindest soul. She has spent a large amount of time on the streets, overlooked and passed by despite her giving her prettiest eyes and wagging her tail so gently.
She thrives on love and affection and is happy to flop on her back at any minute to give you full tummy access.
She is a good girl, obedient and keen to make people happy. Rosie is excellent with other dogs, cats and people. Due to her age and not being around younger children, a home with no children or older teenagers would be preferred.
The most important thing for Rosie is that someone will show her as much love as she will give them and give her all the affection she has missed out on throughout her life.

Zelda

A little more about Zelda.
Zelda is around 2 years old and is looking for a foster/foster with a view to adopt home!
She would like to live as the only dog, although she gets on with them, our little princess can be a bit bossy!
Zelda was found chained at an abandoned factory which has become a dumping spot for dogs she absolutely loves humans and adores any sort of cuddle and affection.
She is a happy little bean and her tail never stops wagging. Zelda is taking her rescue with both paws and is the type of dog that enjoys every second of the day. From seeing her so uncertain on the chain to the happy, content and bouncy girl she is now is really something special.
Kevin
Age: Unknown but young dog
Sex: Male
Breed: Huskey
Size: Small - approx 10kg
Location: UK awaiting a foster/forever home

A little more about Kevin.
Kevin was found as a stray and handed into the vets. This little guy takes life in his stride, goes with the flow and has the sweetest nature.
Little Kev has a lot of stamina in his little legs and loves to explore. He is a young boy, around 10kg. You may notice his bottom jaw is shorter than his top. This doesn’t bother him at all, he can do everything as normal (and takes snacks so gently). If anything it just adds to his character.
He can be dog tested, but could happily live as an only dog. He could live with dog savvy children 12+ we don’t know whether he has been around younger children. He isn’t cat tested and is not yet neutered but this would be part of his adoption contract.
Our little man is looking for a family to do life with. He will make the best companion and despite his size, will definitely fill your whole heart.
Rosie
Oreo
Age: 4-5 months
Sex: Male
Breed: Mixed Breed
Size: Medium - 20kg approx. when fully grown

A little more about Oreo.
Sweet by name, sweet by nature…. Oreo is still looking for a family to love him as much as he will love them.
He says not only are his legs growing into big boy legs, but his ears seem to have a mind of their own!
This happy boy was found on his own at the side of a busy road, his sibling didn’t make it. Oreo is friends with lots of dogs, the cats (he may look bigger in these photos but he’s 6.5kg currently, and smaller than most of the cats!) and loves cuddles from his human friends.
He is almost 4 months old and we think he will be between 18-20kg fully grown, taller with those legs but a slender build. Oreo is ready to bring some sweetness to your life please pop us a message if you may be interested in giving him a forever home.
Wilma
Age:12 - 18 months

Size: Medium - 15-16 kg approx. when fully grown

A little more about Wilma.
Wilma was taken to the vets, found as a stray. She wasn’t chipped and so she entered kennels with nowhere else to go. She’s been there for a few months now and we’re determined to find her the home and happiness she deserves.
Wilma LOVES people. She was initially a timid girl when she first entered the kennels. We have no idea how long she was stray for or of her past life and kennels can be extremely overwhelming for dogs. Now, Wilma greets everyone with cuddles, kisses and excitement!
Wilma is good around other dogs but could live as an only dog (those with other dogs would require a meet initially with the dogs), she is not cat tested. She could live with teenage dog savvy children, she hasn’t been around young children before. She is not yet spayed and this will be a condition of her adoption.
Wilma is so much fun, has so much potential and so much love to give. Please share to help her find her forever family.
Our Adoption Process
Our adoption process is designed to help us find the right match for both the dog and the adopter, giving everyone the best chance of a happy future together.
We are committed to doing rescue differently - with transparency, compassion, and lifelong responsibility.
The process, following initial communications with us, is as follows:
Completion of our adoption application form so we can learn a little more about you, your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a dog.
A home check,carried out in person where possible, to ensure the environment is suitable for the dog’s needs.
If approved, we’ll discuss whether the dog you’re interested in is the right match and answer any questions you may have.
Arrangements for meeting the dog/adoption and completion of the adoption paperwork. Please note, some dogs will require several meets before going home.
Ongoing support from us after adoption. Every Wild Kind dog comes with rescue backup for life, and we’re always here if you need advice or support.
